Whether your screen is completely damaged or it just stays black and unresponsive, this means that you might have to live with a loss of data. Thankfully, a member over at the XDA developer forum came up with a useful tool that will let you control your device right from a Windows computer. From your desktop, you can see your SMS text messages, photos, and anything else stored in your phone’s memory, and then subsequently copy them to your PC.
